MOBIA invites you to join a special Beer Tasting featuring MOBIA thought leadership.
During this event you will be guided through a tasting of two delicious craft beers from La Cerveceria Astilleros. Each beer honours the authenticity of Mexican culture by sourcing Mexican ingredients whenever possible. Participants that register by April 15th will receive a beer package prior to the event.
The MOBIA Beer Tasting will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 2 at 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 6pm AST. It will be a 60min presentation lead by MOBIA Office of the CTO (OCTO) member, Mike Ryan on how Kubernetes is challenging the traditional security model and presenting some unique security obstacles! Learn how Kubernetes creates a miniature cloud service(like a trojan horse) inside your walled garden security perimeter. We explore how adopting application identities + flow security vs. extending the traditional "trust it if it's inside the walls" can help adapt to both securing Kubernetes workloads as well as with cloud adoption! Learn how to secure workloads in a Kubernetes world while ensuring the security team is aligned and readied for security in a container-native environment.
